This chilled breakfast keeps all the beneficial bacteria in DR VEGAN® OsteoFriend®
alive - which means you get the full gut-supporting benefits of L. reuteri, along with
turmeric and key minerals that aid absorption of connective tissue nutrients like
calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D.
Serves: 1 • Prep time: 5 minutes • Chill time: Overnight (or at least 2 hours) • Total time: 5 minutes + chill
Ingredients
- ½ cup whole rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
- 1 heaped teaspoon DR VEGAN® OsteoFriend
- 1 cup plant milk (oat, almond, or soy - whatever you love)
- 1 Medjool date, chopped
- 1 tablespoon pistachios, chopped
- Optional: extra fruit or nuts of choice for topping
Method
- In a jar or container, combine the oats, chia seeds, flaxseed, and
OsteoFriend®.
- Pour over the plant milk and stir really well until everything’s evenly mixed.
- Let it sit for a few minutes, then stir again once it starts to thicken slightly -
this helps prevent clumps.
- Add your dates, pistachios, or any other nuts and fruit you fancy for natural
sweetness and crunch.
- Seal it and pop it in the fridge overnight (or at least 2 hours).
- In the morning, just grab and go - it’s creamy, nourishing, and perfectly
chilled.
