Questions? We have answers:

How do I know if I’m deficient in Magnesium?

Common signs of magnesium deficiency include muscle twitches and cramps, fatigue and muscle weakness, not sleeping well, feelings of stress, irregular heartbeat, low mood and migraines.

Can your Magnesium help with stress?

Magnesium is a master mineral. Research has found that magnesium may help with brain functions that reduce stress. It is believed to affect a part of the brain called the hypothalamus, which helps regulate the pituitary and adrenal glands. These glands are responsible for your response to stress.

Is your Magnesium Glycinate good for sleep?

Yes! Magnesium is known as the ‘Mineral Superhero’ due to its many benefits, one of which is to support better sleep. It also helps regulate melatonin, your sleep hormone that controls your sleep cycle, which is why people often take Magnesium Glycinate before bedtime to improve the quality of their sleep.

How much magnesium should I take?

Our Magnesium is highly absorbable with no additives and more effective than standard magnesium supplements. Many customers find that they only need one capsule a day; however, the recommended daily dose is 2 capsules a day, and this is fine to take if desired.

Can I take Magnesium Glycinate alongside Vegan Nights®?

We advise customers to take one capsule of Magnesium Glycinate alongside Vegan Nights® (which contains 145 mg of Magnesium), providing a total of 295mg of Magnesium.

Will your Magnesium help with Restless Legs Syndrome?

Our Magnesium is very popular amongst customers with conditions such as fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis and restless legs syndrome (RLS).  This is because Magnesium is vital for normal muscle function and helps your muscles to relax. If you have low Magnesium levels, it can result in your muscles contracting too much, causing twitches or cramps, and fatigue.

Are Curcumin & Turmeric the same thing?

Yes and no. Curcumin is the all-important active ingredient in turmeric, and it is the curcumin in turmeric that is so acclaimed for supporting joints, bones and muscles. Think of curcumin as the concentrate of turmeric. The problem with standard turmeric and turmeric supplements is in their normal form, turmeric contains a very, very small amount of curcumin.

If you're taking a standard turmeric supplement for your joints, check if your supplement lists curcumin separately in the nutritional table. If you don't see curcumin in the nutritional table, it means there isn't sufficient curcumin in your supplement and while your turmeric supplement will be beneficial for your digestion, it won't be helping your joints and joint aches.

That's why our Curcumin & Turmeric is so popular - because it contains 200mg of Curcumin and 3300mg of Turmeric, and is very effective for your joints, digestion and daily wellbeing.

Is Curcumin & Turmeric the best supplement for joints?

Yes, our Curcumin & Turmeric is the best-selling supplement for joint health and discomfort that is caused by conditions such as arthritis, osteoarthritis and other conditions.

What is curcumin good for?

Curcumin is the active ingredient in turmeric. It is a powerful antioxidant and widely studied for its benefits for joint health, joint mobility, and digestion.

How much curcumin should I take per day?

200mg is the optimal dosage of Curcumin. Check your supplement label to make sure it contains curcumin and discloses the level of curcumin in it.

Does turmeric curcumin interfere with any medications?

It is not recommended to take Curcumin & Turmeric with antiplatelets (blood thinners), antidiabetic medication or antihypertensives. If you're taking any medication or under medical supervision, consult your GP or healthcare practitioner before taking supplements.
