Yes, our award-winning Daily Multivitamin can be taken by anyone following an omnivore, pescatarian, flexitarian and vegetarian diet as well as a vegan diet.

Our Daily Multivitamin contains 24 essential nutrients at the most optimal levels, and in a highly absorbable form, with zero additives, which makes it more effective than standard multivitamins. Our Daily Multivitamin contains optimal levels of Choline, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Vitamin B1 and Vitamin B12 - standard multivitamins do not include these or do so at far too low levels.

Can I take your Daily Multivitamin alongside other supplements in your range?

Our Daily Multivitamin can be taken alongside other supplements in our range, with a few exceptions or watch-outs, the main one being we do not recommend taking our Daily Multivitamin with our Gentle Iron & Vitamin C. This is because the two together would provide too high levels of Iron for women and men.

Our Daily Multivitamin contains excellent levels of B Vitamins and Vitamin B12. As such, while it can be taken alongside our Vitamin B12 and UltraEnergy (High Strength B Vitamin Complex) which can provide additional support, you may not need these additional supplements if you're taking our Daily Multivitamin.

We always recommend taking our Daily Multivitamin throughout the year because it helps protect you against building up any deficiencies in key nutrients that you may not be getting as you change the foods you eat through the seasons, or as you travel or life gets in the way of eating a healthy balanced diet.

When is the best time to take my Daily Multivitamin?

We always recommend taking your Daily Multivitamin capsules in the morning to help fuel your day ahead. However, you can also take them at any time of day, including in the evenings, and together or separately - it's up to you and down to what is most convenient for you.

Can my teenager take the Daily Multivitamin?

Yes, while our award-winning Daily Multivitamin is formulated for adults, it is also safe for older teenagers to take. If your teenager is 16 or above and of average weight and size for their age, they can take the two capsules a day, however we’d recommend initially taking just one capsule a day as this may be sufficient to support their needs, from their energy and immune health to the digestion and mental performance, skin and hair. If your teenager is under 16, then we'd recommend taking just one capsule a day initially.

If the child is under medical supervision or taking any medication, please consult their healthcare provider or GP first before they take supplements.

Can I take your Daily Multivitamin if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

Our Daily Multivitamin contains Vitamin A, which is not recommended during pregnancy. We recommend instead taking our Pregnancy Multinutrient because it has specifically been formulated to contain all the recommended nutrients during pregnancy, at their optimal dosages in their most bioavailable form and with zero nasty additives. Do I need to supplement with Vitamin D?

Individual needs may differ, but if you are staying indoors for an extended period of time, for instance, in a hospital setting or in a care home, if you are elderly, pregnant or breastfeeding, or generally feeling unwell, it is recommended that supplement with at least 10 mcg (400IU) of Vitamin D3 all year round.

Is it good to take a multivitamin everyday?

Our body needs dozens of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and nutrients every day to survive and function at its best. They all contribute to our health, from our mood, energy, mental performance, healthy skin and hair to our muscles and joints, our immunity, our ability to fight off bugs and disease, and much more. Nutritionists generally agree that most of us should take a good-quality daily multivitamin each day. This is because, with the reality of modern life, it can be very difficult to get a healthy and varied diet every day.

How long does it take for multivitamins to start working?

Some people may notice a difference in as little as a few days or even hours in terms of energy and mood. Some health benefits take longer to show, and it is different from person to person.

What makes a good multivitamin?

The right multivitamin for you will depend on your age, gender, and lifestyle. A good multivitamin will have the most bioavailable forms of ingredients and the right number of vitamins, minerals and botanicals at optimal doses. Doses of 100% NRV do not mean a multivitamin is good or right for you. The NRV is only the minimum you need to avoid a health condition caused by a deficiency in a nutrient, and you may need more than the NRV each day depending on your diet, lifestyle, specific needs, and if you have an existing deficiency. Better multivitamins will also contain probiotics and amino acids. Good multivitamins contain optimal forms of micronutrients, including methylated B vitamins, which are more easily absorbed by the body; vitamin D3 and not D2; and the glycinate or citrate forms of magnesium instead of the poorly absorbed stearate or oxide forms of magnesium. Good multivitamins should also contain all the essential micronutrients your body needs, including Vitamins A, C, D3, E, K2, a complete B Vitamin complex; and the important minerals including calcium, magnesium, zinc and iodine.

Can I take multivitamins and ferrous sulfate together?

If you are deficient in iron, and have been prescribed iron by a health professional, yes, you can also take a multivitamin. The level of iron in a multivitamin is a maintenance dose and is unlikely to contribute to too much iron.

Can you take multivitamins with blood thinners?

There are some nutrients in multivitamins that may interfere with some blood thinners. Anyone who is on medication should consult a qualified healthcare professional to evaluate the compatibility of your medication and a multivitamin.

How long should you take multivitamin supplements?

Multivitamin supplements are designed to be taken long-term.

What multivitamin should women take?

What happens if you take a double dose of multivitamins?

Although we don't recommend it, a double dose occasionally is unlikely to cause any harm. Most vitamins are water soluble, so if you have too much, your body will excrete them naturally through your urine. Other vitamins are fat soluble, such as Vitamins A, D3, E, and K2.

Can I take multivitamins with antibiotics?

Generally multivitamins are safe to take with antibiotics; however, you should check with a healthcare professional to check the compatibility of your specific medication with a multivitamin.
