How it works?

Hair Saviour® is a formula of 14 botanicals, minerals and vitamins for hair growth, strength and thickness, designed for women and men. It contains evidence-based doses of clinically-backed ingredients including AnaGain™, MSM, saw palmetto, silica and biotin.

In our study of customers taking it daily for two months or more, 79% rated Hair Saviour® effective and 87% noticed an improvement in at least one area of their hair, most often strength and condition.

Working with your hair cycle

Every hair on your head is in one of three phases at any moment: actively growing, transitioning, or resting before it sheds. A healthy scalp has most follicles growing and only a small share resting, and hair thinning is usually that balance tipping the wrong way.

This is why Hair Saviour® takes time. It does not change hair that has already entered its resting phase, so what you feel first is stronger, better-conditioned hair from the follicles still growing, and new growth later. Half of users first noticed a difference between four and eight weeks, and just over a quarter needed eight weeks or more.

Hair growth and hair follicles

Your hair is fed by blood vessels at the base of each follicle, and everything your hair is built from arrives that way.

AnaGain™ is a clinically studied extract of organic pea sprouts and the lead active in Hair Saviour®. In one study among people with hair loss, AnaGain™ reduced daily shedding by around a third within four weeks. Saw palmetto works by acting on the enzyme that converts testosterone into DHT, the hormone behind pattern hair loss in both women and men. In a 16-week trial of adults with thinning hair, saw palmetto reduced shedding by almost a third.

New hair growth is reported by more than half of users taking Hair Saviour®, which is notable because it is the slowest of all hair outcomes to appear.

Strength, structure and keratin

Hair is made almost entirely of keratin, a protein held together by bonds that rely on sulphur. Weak, brittle hair that snaps mid-length is usually a structural problem, and Hair Saviour® fixes this.

MSM is a natural source of sulphur, provided here at 400mg. In a four-month study of women taking MSM daily, hair shine and volume both improved. Biotin supports the maintenance of healthy hair, and silica from bamboo, horsetail and alfalfa supplies silicon, a mineral found naturally in hair and nails.

Hair strength was the single most improved area in our study, reported by more than two thirds of users.

Shedding, iron and your thyroid

Two of the most common causes of hair shedding have nothing to do with your scalp, and both are easily missed.

Low iron is the first. Iron carries oxygen around your body, and hair follicles are among the most metabolically demanding tissues you have. Hair Saviour® provides iron as bisglycinate, a gentle and highly-absorbed form. Your thyroid is the second. It sets the pace of your metabolism, thyroid changes are a common cause of thinning, and the iodine from kelp is what your thyroid needs to make its hormones.

If you know your iron is low, we recommend Gentle Iron & Vitamin C alongside Hair Saviour®.

Condition, shine and colour

Hair condition is what you notice in the mirror before anything else: how it catches the light, how it feels, how it sits.

Silica helps remineralise the hair shaft, and alfalfa is rich in antioxidant plant compounds that protect the cells your hair grows from. Copper maintains your natural hair pigmentation and the connective tissue underneath, and folate drives the rapid cell division that growing hair depends on.

Hair condition was the second most improved area in our study, and it appeared in every combination of results that crossed 80%.

Absorbing nutrients for hair

Hair Saviour® includes black pepper and cayenne pepper extract. Piperine from black pepper increases the absorption of other nutrients, and capsaicin, the active compound in cayenne, has been studied for hair growth in its own right: in a five-month study, capsaicin with soy isoflavones improved hair growth in two thirds of participants.

Skin and nails

Your skin and nails use almost everything your hair is built from, which is why people taking Hair Saviour® often notice their nails first.

Zinc supports the constant cell renewal that skin and nails depend on, silica contributes to their structure, and MSM supplies sulphur to the same keratin that nails are made from.

For building collagen and healthy skin, we recommend Skin Saviour® alongside Hair Saviour®.

Hair loss explained

Hormones and nutrient deficiencies are the most common causes of hair loss. Deficiencies in nutrients such as Iron, B Vitamins and protein can also contribute towards hair thinning.

Ageing can contribute to hair loss due to reduced blood flow, and an increase in the hormone called DHT (dihydrotestosterone), amongst other factors. Post-menopausal women are also at risk of hair loss due to hormone fluctuations.
